I’m Frisco Cruise, based out of Lancaster Pennsylvania, USA. I started designing tabletop rules when I was 12, modifying D&D 3.0 for friends. I've been LARPing since 2013 and been in staff positions since 2014. I started creating in high-mechanics boffer LARP communities, but I've grown into into improv, freeform, and minimal rules design.
My goal as a designer is to dissect and boil down aspects of play to understand the core of what makes it work, and I'm attracted to media that focuses on and exemplifies isolated facets of a certain type experience. Look for focused studies and explorations of genre, mechanics, and tone in my work.

I founded and have been creating content for AECo since February 2019, publishing several tabletop games, in-home LARPs, and launching weekend-long events.
Tempus Omni: The challenge was to create a full-weekend LARP in 3 months time, selling a minimum of 30 tickets in the first month. I created a concept, organized a team, created a website, made the rules, generated promotional material, sold tickets, wrote the plot, organized the schedule, meal planned, created props, and did everything else needed to run a 3 day experience within 90 days. (October 4-6, 2019)
Mechs Into Plowshares: An expansion of my submission to the Sad Mecha Jam, it is a single player narrative tabletop game that creates a relationship between you and a mech of your own design. Explores change, attachment, loss, and paranoia. (2019)
The Elk Man Isn't Real: A pervasive experience that I am reluctant to call a game, it was an attempt to recreate and share the paranoid delusions from my youth that surrounded an urban legend of my own design. (2019)
It Darkens The Threshold: A two person intimate LARP where one player takes the role of a monster in the doorway and the other players the human waiting for them inside. Themes involve temptation, danger, and betrayal. (2019)
Harsh Generation is an improv narrative tabletop game set in a post-apocalyptic, sci-fi Philadelphia.
